The layout of the slopes is especially suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers. It is easy to hire an instructor, and there are on-site ski schools available. As many visitors note, this makes the resort convenient for families with children. However, there are relatively few challenging, professional-level slopes with steep descents.
In total, the resort area has 14 lifts, including 5 drag lifts, and around 25 ski runs.
Uludağ attracts both winter sports enthusiasts and those looking for a more budget-friendly option, as prices for accommodation and skiing are generally lower than in Schengen-area resorts.
Weather and Seasons
The region has a mountainous climate, and the ski season lasts about four months. The best conditions are typically from mid-December to the end of March, making this the ideal time to visit.
During the season, snow depth ranges from 1.5 to 3 meters, and the average daytime temperature is around +5°C. Snow can still be present in April, but it tends to be wetter, so skiing conditions are less favorable.
