Tuzla İçme and Thermal Springs have been providing healing to people since the 12th century Byzantine period and offering natural treatments for many diseases.
Tuzla İçme and Thermal Springs had became famous with the book "Seyahatname" written by Evliya Çelebi in 1611. "Tuzla İçmeleri Inc." has become a company and has survived to the present day with order of Republic of Turkey's founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1927.
The plant, as well as traditional thermal spa and detox cure, a combination of modern hydro and physical therapy practice is used, it is one of the most important thermal springs in Turkey.
