However, at present, the construction works have been suspended for an indefinite period.The works are expected to resume at a later stage, but unfortunately, we have no information regarding the date on which they will restart or any estimated completion date.We kindly ask you to ensure that this information is shared with all your partners and that guests with existing and future reservations are properly informed about the construction works.Please note that, from this moment onwards, any new reservation at Dom Manuel must be made with full knowledge of the existing construction works. Guests must be informed of the situation at the time of booking and, should they decide to proceed with their reservation, they will be doing so with full awareness of the construction works.Therefore, we will not be able to accept complaints related to the construction works for reservations made from this date onwards, provided that the guests have been duly informed at the time of booking.Affected Room CategoryWe would like to clarify that the only room category affected by the construction works is the Classic Double/Twin City View.The rooms in this category are located above the road and face the road, with the construction site situated on the opposite side.All other room categories remain unaffected by the construction works.We kindly ask you to ensure that all guests booking a Classic Double/Twin City View room are informed about the construction works at the time of booking.We greatly appreciate your cooperation and assistance in ensuring that this information is clearly communicated to all concerned guests. 26.06.26:We recently received information that a new construction project is being carried out close to the Dom Manuel I hotel.The works are carried out on the plot opposite of the hotel a new building of three floors and a swimming pool is being constructed.The works are not related to the hotel and are carried out by a third party.The hotel informs that at the present stage, the noise level is not excessive; the noisiest of the works such as demolition and excavating have already been finalised.None of the facilities or services are affected by the building site and the hotel operates as normal.The pool and the rooms overlooking the pool do not face the main road. Only a small number of rooms (rooms with city views) have this orientation.The hotel cleans all areas daily and any if some dust resulting from the construction may arise during the day, the hotel will resolve this with daily cleaning.The expected completion date for this project is announced for October 2027.
