Hotel Location and Transfer Information!

The hotel operates a sharing boat only during the fixed schedule as mentioned hereunder.

Sharing Boat Trip:

• Fixed Schedule:
  • Pick-up: From El Gouna Abydos Marina at 11:00 AM (one time daily).
  • Drop-off: From the island back to El Gouna at 01:30 PM (one time daily).
• Trip Duration: Approximately 60 to 90 minutes.

• Important Note: Sailing is not allowed after 5:00 PM according to Red Sea regulations.

Requests for Different Pick-up or Drop-off Times:

• Alternative timings are subject to availability, require advance notice, and come with additional charges.
• Requests must be confirmed 48 hours prior to arrival, and the cost is approximately $250 per way, for up to 5 persons maximum.
• Additional Clarification:
  • If guests request different timing:
    • The hotel will provide a complimentary speed boat (FOC) for one way only “in case of min stay 7 nights”.
    • If guests also wish to return at a different time (outside the sharing boat schedule), an additional charge of $250 per boat applies (maximum 5 persons).
    • In case of both conditions together “accommodation less than 7 nights & different timing of pick-up/drop-off”, both ways will be paid as an extra charge.

Limousine Service:

• The hotel does not provide limousine service directly, but we can assist through a third-party company for an extra charge.
• Please specify your pick-up location so we can check the rate for you.

⚠️ Any boat transfer outside the above schedule is available at an additional cost (Speed Boat) (approximately USD 250/300* per way (maximum 5 persons). The transfer must be booked at least 48 hours prior to arrival in Egypt.

*The price is subject to change at the discretion of the service provider without prior notice.

Please note that group or private airport transfers provided by the tour operator do not include the boat transfer to the island.
The boat transfer is arranged only by the hotel or an external provider.

When booking a stay at Tawila Island Resort 4*, please carefully consider the flight arrival/departure times and the Red Sea boat operation restrictions after 17:00:

• If the arrival time in Hurghada is after 09:00, guests must either book a paid private boat or reserve an extra night in a Hurghada mainland hotel to take the free scheduled boat transfer the next day.
  (Transfer/taxi from the hotel to the marina the next day is at guests’ own expense.)
• If the departure time from Hurghada is before 18:30, guests must either book a paid private boat or reserve an extra last night in a Hurghada mainland hotel to take the free boat transfer one day before departure.
  (Transfer/taxi from the marina to the mainland hotel is at guests’ own expense.)
• If the arrival time in Hurghada is after 14:00, it is not possible to arrange a boat transfer after 17:00, even for an extra charge. In this case, guests must book an extra first night in a Hurghada mainland hotel to use the free boat transfer the following day.
  (Transfer/taxi from the hotel to the marina the next day is at guests’ own expense.)

For all bookings with charter flights (block flights of the tour operator’s program), it is strongly recommended to book an extra first and last night in a Hurghada mainland hotel in order to use the complimentary boat transfer in both directions.
(Transfers/taxis between the hotel and the marina on the mainland are at guests’ own expense.)

If guests do not book the extra first and/or last night on the Hurghada mainland, they must be informed in advance about the boat cost for out-of-schedule transfers, and they should have cash available to pay for the boat in both directions.

The travel agent must inform the guests about their responsibility should they decline to book the extra first and last night in a Hurghada mainland hotel.
In such cases, guests will be responsible for arranging and paying for their own transfer to/from the island outside the hotel’s free boat schedule and/or in case of Red Sea closure for boat movement after 17:00.
