Hotel News (25.05.2026): Please be informed that the hotel has scheduled renovation works, including:

• Renovation of the main building (lobby, reception area, lobby lounge, and a new boardroom)
• Renovation of the main restaurant
• The first phase of the guest room renovation is scheduled to be completed by August 2026
• The second phase of the room renovation is planned to be completed by November 2026

The hotel has also officially confirmed that the rebranding and transition to Mövenpick Hurghada will take place on 1 November 2026.

Hotel News (18.05.2026): The hotel management has provided a detailed update regarding the hotel rebranding works:

• Main Building and Main Restaurant: from 15.12.2025 to 15.06.2026 (duration: 6 months)
• Room inventory (78 rooms) in buildings 17-18-19: from 01.03.2026 to 01.07.2026 (duration: 4 months)
• Sushi Restaurant, Ultra Bar, and "AZUR": works will begin after the completion of the Main Restaurant renovation and continue until 15.09.2026 (duration: 3 months)
• Room inventory (78 rooms) in buildings 20-21-22: from 02.07.2026 to 02.11.2026 (duration: 4 months), and 4 villas from 01.07.2026 to 15.10.2026
• Italian Restaurant: works will begin after completion of the Sushi Restaurant renovation
• Room inventory (78 rooms) in buildings 14-15-16: from 03.11.2026 to 03.03.2027 (duration: 4 months)
• Room inventory (78 rooms) in buildings 11-12-13: from 04.03.2027 to 04.07.2027 (duration: 4 months)
• Room inventory (78 rooms) in buildings 32-33-34: from 05.07.2027 to 05.11.2027 (duration: 4 months)
• Room inventory (79 rooms) in buildings 30-31-35: from 06.11.2027 to 06.03.2028 (duration: 4 months)
• Full completion of the hotel rebranding project is scheduled for 06.03.2028 (until further notice).

• Hotel News (04.05.2026) - We would like to inform you that Mercure Hurghada has been undergoing a phased renovation since December 2025. Currently, the first phase of the renovation is in progress, which includes the refurbishment of the main restaurant Dar Al Andalous and the reception area. The estimated completion time for this phase is approximately seven months (until further notice).

During the renovation period, alternative reception and restaurant areas have been arranged to ensure guests’ comfort. The works are being carried out in phases, with no impact on guest comfort or operational processes. All hotel services and facilities continue to operate as usual throughout the entire renovation period.

• Hotel News (24.10.2025) - Starting November 15, Mercure Hurghada will begin a phased renovation as part of its rebranding to Mövenpick. The first phase will include upgrades to the main restaurant Dar Al Andalous and the reception area, expected to be completed within seven months. During this period, a temporary reception area will be available, and daily meals will be served in an alternative restaurant within the hotel.

All other hotel services and facilities will continue to operate as usual throughout the renovation.

• Hotel Update (posted on 04.06.2025 / updated on 14.07.2025): We would like to inform you that the hotel has scheduled a full renovation of the main restaurant and reception area.

All-Day Dining Restaurant Renovation: Starting from 1 September 2025, the hotel’s main restaurant, Dar El Andalus (All-Day Dining), will undergo renovation works daily from 09:00 to 17:00, with expected completion by 30 April 2026 (subject to further notice).

Alternatives: Restaurant: The Lounge will serve as the alternative dining venue / All hotel services and facilities will continue to operate as usual / A temporary reception area will be arranged to ensure guest comfort during check-in and check-out

We also inform you that on the day of arrival, the All Inclusive service starts at 10:00, and on the day of departure, wristbands are removed at 12:00 (however, guests are still entitled to lunch at the main restaurant).

Important! According to the hotel’s concept, the minimum stay required to visit the à la carte restaurants is 7 nights.
